Ahoy Land Lubbers!

Proudly sponsored by Coes Ipswich, join Red Rose Chain for “buccaneers and buried gold”!

If you’re still yet to visit their studio theatre, The Avenue in Ipswich, now’s the perfect time to see what they get up to the rest of the year!

After a phenomenal Theatre in the Forest this summer with The Tempest, Red Rose Chain are now back inside their cosy studio theatre to embark on a swash-buckling adventure full of pirates, parrots and hidden treasure for Joanna Carrick’s adaptation of the timeless classic Treasure Island! Yo-ho me hearties yo-ho!

Red Rose Chain is extremely excited to welcome back Joel Macey to the company as Long John Silver! Whether he’s making you laugh uncontrollably in The Magic Fishbone or tear up in Wuthering Heights, Joel can make any character his own and we can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve for Long John Silver! You can bet he’ll have everyone walking the plank this winter! Joining Joel for adventures on the high seas are multi-talented, fresh faces to Red Rose Chain, Claire Lloyd and Ryan Penny! Expect larger-than-life creations in Jo’s fun and fast-paced adaptation.

Matinee spaces around Christmas are already selling out, make sure you get yours!

Also don’t forget their fab Family & Friends Offer: Buy 6 tickets or more for an evening performance and get the cheapest free! This year the evening shows start even earlier, so they’ll be over nice and early by around 8.30pm.

Treasure Island is suitable for all ages and offers “A magical family alternative to panto” (The Stage)

See you at The Avenue Theatre!
