ONLINE DESPATCH ASSISTANT - IPSWICH - PERMANENT POSITION

9.00am to 3.00pm – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday

Based in Ipswich

We have a growing online business and need an additional person to help with the picking, packing and despatching of goods for our online customers.  There will also be some communication with customers over the phone and we are looking for someone who understands the importance of good customer service.

 

Brief Job Description

  • To accurately pick and pack orders for online customers
  • To process returns and exchanges
  • To process special schoolwear orders for other shops within the group and to keep customers informed of status of order
  • To manage stock by accepting deliveries, booking in branch transfers, and creating purchase orders on system.
  • Correct imbalance of schoolwear stock by stock count and physical inventory adjustment on till.
  • Create codes for new stock and print stock reports for departments.

 

Person Specification 

Essential:

  • A desire to offer excellent customer service
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Methodical with good organisational skills
  • Able to work on own initiative and also within a small team
  • Flexible with working longer hours when necessary

WOMENSWEAR SALES PERSON - IPSWICH - PART TIME - PERMANENT POSITION

CUSTOMER SERVICES ASSISTANT - IPSWICH - PART TIME - PERMANENT (2 POSITIONS)

We are looking for two new members of staff for our Customer Services Office in Ipswich.

These are part time positions as follows:
8.30am to 13.00pm Tuesday to Saturday (22 ½ hours per week)
9.00am to 13.00pm Tuesday to Friday (16 hours per week)

You will quite often be the first point of contact for customers, either by phone, email or face to face. The role also involves processing of customer data, cash handling and general office duties. You will be expected to prioritise customers over other tasks and give first class customer service.

 

Brief Job Description

  • Operation of main switchboard and first point of contact for customer enquiries
  • Processing of customer accounts
  • Maintenance of customer database
  • Cash Handling – giving change and processing payments
  • General office duties

 

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • Understanding of Good Customer Service
  • Good working knowledge of Excel – Intermediate level
