These Ultimate Performance replacement running spikes come in a pack of 12 and are heat-tested for durability. Choosing the right length matters: synthetic tracks such as tartan or mondo surfaces generally call for 5mm or 6mm spikes, while grass, dirt, cross-country and trail running typically suits 9mm to 12mm, or up to 15mm on very soft or muddy ground. Always check the rules before you compete — many track events cap spike length at 6mm on synthetic surfaces.
